Last year, The Witches Society AU’s Enchantment Bar of Spells completely sold out at The Witches Markets - and this year, we’re bringing it back bigger and better than ever before.

For 2026, we’re welcoming back our Acolytes from the 2025 Nighttime RITUAL Ceremony, who will be joining us throughout each session of the market. Attendees will have the opportunity to consult with, learn from, and create a personalised spell for a small cost alongside experienced practitioners. Whether you’re seeking protection, abundance, healing, confidence, love, road opening, banishment, or spiritual support, this space has been designed to help you craft something aligned specifically to your intentions and energy.

Rather than simply purchasing a pre-made spell, you’ll be able to sit with practitioners, explore ingredients, herbs, crystals, and magical correspondences, and build a customised spell designed around your personal needs.

The Enchantment Bar became one of the most loved and talked about spaces at last year’s markets - and with the expansion happening this year, we expect it to sell quickly once again!

This interactive experience will take up the whole stage and will be designed so that you have one on one discussions with your assigned acolyte.

Burning things within witchcraft is often symbolic of release, transformation, communication, and energetic change. Across many spiritual and cultural practices, fire has long been viewed as something that both destroys and transforms simultaneously - turning something physical into smoke, ash, energy, and intention.

For many practitioners, burning petitions, herbs, written fears, manifestations, names, sigils, or intentions can represent letting go of emotional attachment, releasing stagnant energy, breaking cycles, or sending intentions outward spiritually. There is something deeply psychological about physically watching something leave your hands and change form entirely. Fire creates movement. What once existed physically becomes ash, smoke, heat, and memory.

This is one reason so many people feel drawn toward fire rituals during periods of grief, healing, shadow work, manifestation, endings, or emotional rebirth. In many ways, the act itself becomes symbolic communication with the subconscious mind - a physical representation of surrender, release, or transformation. It can create a powerful emotional moment where someone consciously decides:
“I no longer wish to carry this version of myself forward.”

Of course, not every witchcraft practice involves burning, and different traditions interpret fire differently. Some view it as purification, others as protection, passion, destruction, communication, or divine transformation. But within many forms of modern witchcraft, burning is rarely about destruction alone. More often, it represents change - the understanding that sometimes things must transform completely before something new can emerge in their place.

It’s not all candles and pretty aesthetics - sometimes it’s ash-covered hands (thanks !), crushed herbs everywhere, hours of grinding ingredients, handwritten notes, testing blends, and accidentally making an absolute mess while crafting spellwork with intention!

At this June, The Witches Society AU will be bringing our interactive Enchantment Bar to life - giving you the chance to experience spellcraft in a far more hands-on way.

You’ll be able to:

This spell was originally requested by a member of The Witches Society AU, but after creating it, we felt it could help many others within the community too. Because of that, we decided to share it freely with both our social media followers and Patreon members.

No tools are required.

This protection working can be performed over jewellery, gifts, mirrors, ritual tools, crystals, letters, or even your car before travel.

Using your first and middle fingers, trace an upright pentagram in one continuous unbroken line over the object while visualising electric-blue or violet flame surrounding it. Many practitioners believe the unbroken line symbolises continuous protection, energetic flow, and sealing intention without interruption.

Repeat:

“With this pentagram I lay
Protection here both night and day.
And the one who should not touch
Let their fingers burn and twitch.
I now invoke the law of three;
This is my will, so mote it be.”

Protection workings are deeply personal and intention-led. Take what resonates, adapt where needed, and always practise with clear intention and respect.

Honeypot spell jars are a traditional form of attraction magick used to soften energy, encourage receptivity, and influence outcomes through alignment rather than force. Rather than creating sudden or disruptive change, this type of working supports gradual shifts in perception, behaviour, and interaction, allowing situations to unfold in a more harmonious and favourable way over time.

At its core, a honeypot works through symbolic layering. The sweetening agent represents warmth, kindness, and positive response, while petitions, herbs, and personal links anchor the intention into the physical space. As the jar is left to sit and is worked consistently, it reinforces a steady energetic pattern that encourages softness, openness, and attraction within the situation being focused on.

Because honey is naturally slow-moving and preservative, this form of magick is designed to build and hold. It is particularly effective in situations that require patience, consistency, and a long-term shift in tone, such as improving communication, strengthening relationships, encouraging cooperation, or drawing in aligned opportunities.
