If prolonged stress can have such a profound effect on the bodyโฆ how do we support it back into equilibrium?
One of the most important things I think women need to understand is this:
The body is constantly adapting to the environment itโs living in.
Stress. Poor sleep. Overwhelm. Nervous system overload. Blood sugar instability. Chronic pressure. Self-abandonment. Constant โpushing through.โ
Over time, these things can profoundly affect mood, energy, metabolism, hormonal resilience, sleep quality and how we feel in our body.
Not because the body is weak.
But because physiology is intelligent.
The body adapts to prolonged stress in order to survive.
Which is why healing often isnโt about forcing the body harder.
Itโs about asking:
โจ What would help this system feel supported again? โจ What would nourish resilience? โจ What would help restore safety, rhythm and equilibrium?
Listening to your body is often the first step.
Maybe you need more rest.
Maybe you need more play.
Maybe you need more nourishment.
Maybe you need to change howโor whatโyouโre eating.
Maybe your nervous system needs support.
And if you donโt know what your body is trying to tell youโฆ thatโs exactly where deeper support can help ๐ฉท
As a naturopath, this is exactly the work I do with women in clinic.
Helping them understand what their body is asking for and supporting them toward radiant mood, vibrant energy, and feeling great in their body again ๐ฉท
