Ursula Cruz - NSW Services Officer

With a background spanning over a decade in education and training, Ursula brings a unique blend of empathy, structure, and people-focused service to the disability housing sector. After spending 10 years as a teacher and trainer, she transitioned into the NDIS space through the EquitiSDA program, where she developed a strong understanding of Specialist Disability Accommodation and participant engagement.

Now in her role as NSW Services Officer at SDAR, Ursula combines her educational background with her growing experience in the disability sector to ensure participants, families, and providers receive clear guidance and responsive support. She is passionate about helping individuals with disability find suitable homes that promote independence, choice, and inclusion, and takes pride in delivering service with compassion and professionalism.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing properties, and building strong community and industry connections.

✅ About the Role:

You will:

Manage SDA properties and tenancies across WA
Source and onboard NDIS participants
Work closely with owners, SIL providers, and support coordinators
Oversee compliance, inspections, and maintenance
Represent SDA Residential at expos and industry events
Support business growth and referrals

👤 About You:

You’ll have:

Experience in property management, housing, or community services
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence using systems and spreadsheets
Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
