It’s ok to take things a little more slowly and with compassion after an event such as the Westfield tragedy impacts the local Bondi community and more broadly, Australia. Try to make time for the things you enjoy - connecting with others, a walk in the sunshine, by the ocean, reading a good book. And perhaps take a break from your socials and the media. And if you’re struggling there are many great options that are here to help. Lifeline 13 11 14, Kids helpline 1800 55 1800, Mental Healthline 1800 011 511 and many others. It’s ok to reach out for that connection and support - no problem is too big or too small.

Therapeutic Support for Wellbeing

I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore your thoughts and feelings and offer you new perspectives through the use of counselling using ACT therapy, mindfulness and compassion focused therapy. I provide you with insights and skills to understand and slowly unpack why you're feeling stuck or struggling, and I listen and hold the space, with empathy and compassion.

What I have noticed most, is that when clients are struggling, the simple act of being with a counsellor, and sharing your experiences, can bring relief and create enough space to make change. From this place of support, a trusting relationship is built with the therapist to explore opportunities for change.
