Vibes at the 'Juice with Youth' event!🥤🤙

We joined hands with Auburn Police Officers at Lidcombe Shopping Centre for a fun day connecting with youth and their families. Young people showed off their creative talents, learnt about mental health, and got a free Boost juice!

Thank you to Auburn Police Area Command and Lidcombe Shopping Centre for having us there.

In April, 75 young people from Youth Reference Groups (YRGs) across 14 headspace centres gathered in Jindabyne for a camp focused on collaboration, inspiration, networking, advocacy, training, and project planning. We're grateful to have been invited by Grand Pacific Health and appreciate the staff who coordinated the camp and YRG for their contributions and teamwork.

Self-care doesn’t have to be fancy, expensive, or take a long time. It’s about doing what will make you feel good, safe, and grounded - whatever that looks like.

Sometimes it's also about doing things that we've been putting off, like scheduling a doctor's appointment, or finally cleaning our room.

What are your go-to self-care activities?💚

Mental health isn’t all talk - sometimes it’s play!🎲🧩

Therapy doesn’t always mean sitting on a couch and talking only about your feelings (though it can be that too). Sometimes, it looks like rolling dice, sharing a laugh, or versing a clinician in a game.

At our service, we know that everyone’s different - so we make sure support feels right for you. Whether it’s through board games, creative activities, or just hanging out in a safe space, we’re here to help you feel comfortable, understood, and in control of your own journey.

What’s your go-to board game?😄

Celebrating 50 years of NAIDOC Week 💛🖤❤️💚💙🤍

Let’s walk together, learn together, and build a future grounded in truth, pride, and unity.

Did you know that practising mindfulness for just 10 minutes a day can lower anxiety levels and boost your mood? 🧠

It can help to rewire our brain to respond, rather than react in tough or stressful situations.

Take a moment to choose one way you'll be mindful this week 🌿

When the news feels heavy, it’s okay to take a break. You’re not ignoring the world - you're making sure you can continue to stand up and care in the long-run.

Here are a few ways to care for yourself:
🕓 Limit scroll time
🚫 Mute or unfollow accounts that feel overwhelming
💬 Talk about what you’re feeling, not just what you’re seeing
🌿 Make time for joy offline

Your wellbeing matters. Let yourself step back when you need to.
