FRONTIER are assisting Professor Eneida Mioshi and her team at the University of East Anglia (UK), who are developing a free, online intervention designed to support family carers of people living with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). This program, called the FTDToolkit, aims to provide practical skills and strategies to help family carers manage symptoms commonly associated with these conditions. Please see the attached flyer or watch this 4-minute video for more information
The study is currently recruiting family carers and involves two possible components. You are welcome to take part in either or both, depending on your preference:
Study 1: A one‑hour interview with one of the researchers (Polly Trucco), exploring your experiences as a carer and your views on the FTDToolkit’s developing content. This will help shape the structure, materials, and strategies included in the future intervention. Participants receive a small thank‑you voucher for each interview.
Study 2 (optional): Online questionnaires completed at five different time points, focused on your wellbeing and some aspects of the person you care for.
