Lindy Abelsohn is a Registered Psychologist who provides specialist care to children aged 0 to 18 and their families. As a mother of five, Lindy understands the challenges that come with parenting, and is realistic in the strategies she adopts in therapy. Lindy offers:

Over 15 years of clinical experience in the private and public sectors. Experience in assessment and diagnosis, individual therapy, parenting support, school and daycare support. Collaboration with medical (Paediatricians, GPs), Allied Health (Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists) and educational professionals to achieve holistic outcomes for your child. Specialist experience in a range of childhood disorders: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, learning difficulties, anxiety and depression. Lindy emphasises evidence-based practice and tailors interventions to each child's individual needs. In her practice, Lindy helps parents to establish appropriate patterns of behaviour, and applies an in-depth knowledge of human development to support children struggling with self esteem, social and emotional difficulties to reach their full potential.

Hello everyone. I am so sorry for my silence. For those that don’t know, I had a baby in December and have been busy with that, and home schooling four big kids. I hope everyone is managing the best they can during this period.
