Those who have been up to the clinic the last few months may have noticed a new face hanging around!

Welcome Chiropractor, Dr Kahli Gilchrist to AM Health & Performance.

Kahli has been well versed with Chiropractic care for a long time as a patient, working in clinics as receptionist and now obviously a practitioner!

From a familiar sporting family, Kahli has competed internationally as an Irish Dancer and played AFL in Sydney, as part of the Sydney Swans Women's Academy.

A well researched Chiropractor, completing her undergraduate and Masters at Macquriue University, Kahli is currently futhering her Chiropractic studies by undertaking the FICS International Sports Chiropractic Certificate.

Kahli is an approachable practioner who brings warm nature and dedication to her craft, who values relating to her patients to determine clear working diagnosis and provide the best possible treatment outcomes.

Kahli will be working Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings, and is available through online bookings and through reception on 0432 347 976.

2024 Sports Chiro Symposium.

and I presented to the master class stream and ICSC stream on our Chiropractic journey, experience and practices when managing athletes in clinical circumstances, when working as part of a team environment and when travelling at major competitions such as the Olympics.

Our passion has been educating sports coaches, medical professionals and athletes on what we offer as Chiropractors to the sporting community.

Paris 2024 Olympic Games

What an achievement! A journey full of success and challenge, ups and downs, fond friendship and memories. Both and competed in the green and gold, as a result of all our hard work and planning built up over the years. I got to experience the whole journey over there as a coach of my two and chiropractor to a number of the athletes from all over the world. I am grateful for the experience and gained a lot of knowledge and friendship with those I was working around.

A lot of long days, planning and sacrifice over the past 3 years went towards ensuring both athletes qualified and we're in top shape to compete at the games! I was fortunate and thankful to have my team with me , and via correspondence whilst overseas.

The feedback and support I have had whilst over there and since back has been amazing!

A late post! As I have had to navigate a full location change to the clinic since coming back to Aus which I will be sharing shortly. Thank you to all my patients and clients who have been supportive and patient through this transition period and excitement follows soon!

2024 Paris Olympics

60.70m, 2nd at the USA NCAA nationals at 21yrs old and so close to making Olympic Qualification Quota.

She battled her way through another NCAA season, making some brave decisions to compete for Texas A&M as well as pursuing Olympic Selection for Australia.

Falling just short, at such a young age, throwing the 3rd furthest distance by Australian Javelin thrower this season, I think we will see her on the international stage in green and gold very very soon.

She has been offered a new journey to complete her college years at University of Georgia! A reward for her maturity, dedication and how she's navigated this particular year.

A Multi-modal Chiropractic Approach to the Treatment and Management of Medial Elbow Injuries with Elite Javelin Throwers. A Case Series.

Photo is from last year's World Federation of Chiropractic conference where I did my first ever poster presentation for this paper submitted for publication this year. The paper was written and presented with 2 very influential Chiropractors on my career who i am both excited and proud to completed this journey with.

This piece of work has been unique in educating what chiropractic management can do with elite athletes which I have been advocating around the world. We will be presenting this again at this year's Chiropractic Australia conference.

Good luck to everyone competing at tonights in Offenburg. Our schedules didn't quite work out this year being in Australia, so we are sorry to miss out.

My judge of competitions is based off the food and hospitality 😆 The is ranked 1. An amazing javelin competition with the world's best athletes, 5 star hospitality and accommodation at the and a post comp sponsors dinner displaying quality fine dining, where all the athletes, coaches, event organisers and sponsors came together for a fantastic evening. This is what sport is about.

One of the perks about traveling around the world as a coach is that I am also travelling as a Chiropractor. It was fantastic to catch up with .train_throws .dabbs .hardin last weekend and provide some pre-comp treatment! It is something I love to do and make available for the athletes pre and post comp when I'm out of the clinic and travelling!
