MotherSafe NSW Statewide Medications in Pregnancy and Lactation Service. MotherSafe is a NSW state-wide service funded by NSW Health.

It provides comprehensive telephone counselling for women and their healthcare providers regarding exposures during pregnancy and breastfeeding, including prescription and over the counter medications, street drugs, infections, radiation, occupational and environmental exposures. Non-English speakers can access an interpreter through TIS National by phoning 131 450. There is no charge for interpreter costs when contacting a government-funded service or agency (such as MotherSafe or the Royal Hospital for Women).
