Dr Naz Hani is a fellow of the RACGP and has been at Ashby Medical Centre since early 2025.
Dr Naz Hani provides holistic care and aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for her patients. She is approachable, takes the time to explore her patients concerns and values being thorough when providing medical care.

She is a mixed billing Dr and works on Monday, Thursday and Fridays.

Dr Monica Fahmy originally started at the practice as a registrar and had continued on once she received her fellowship.
Dr Monica Fahmy has a special interest in women’s health, children’s health, travel vaccinations,mental health and all aspects of family medicine.
She is known for her warm, understanding, approachable bedside manner.

In her spare time she enjoys travelling, exploring, delicious food and spending time with family and friends.

Dr David Hu is one of our longer term Drs and has a strong interest in children’s health, men’s health and aged care and provides a holistic approach to his care.

Dr David Hu has a caring, gentle manner and enjoys providing care to patients across all age groups.

He also has an interest in performing minor procedures for skin related issues.

In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, working out at the gym and spending quality time with his wife and their 3 children.

Dr Catherine Gerges started with us a registrar and became fully Fellowed in early 2025. She is a compassionate GP with a special focus on women’s and children’s health. She provides personalised, holistic care that considers both physical and emotional wellbeing, building trusted relationships with patients at every stage of life - from childhood through adulthood.

With a growing interest in weight loss, metabolic health and hormonal imbalances Dr Catherine Gerges uses a collaborative, team based approach in her treatment plans.

In her free time Dr Catherine Gerges enjoys baking, nail art, travelling and going for runs.

She is a mixed billing Dr and currently is working on Tuesday and Thursdays 8:30-5:00.

Doctor highlight - meet Dr Sarah Yuen who began working at Ashby Medical Centre in 2026.

Dr Sarah Yuen is currently taking on new patients.

Dr Sarah Yuen has a special interest in skin cancer and preventative health. She is passionate about improving patients health literacy, ensuring patients are well informed and empowered to take control of their well-being.
Dr Sarah Yuen has had further training in palliative care. She provides a broad range of services in all aspects of General Practice including women’s health, children’s health and chronic disease management.

She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

She is a mixed billing Dr and currently works Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30.
