Introducing Dr Roshan Kosgodage to Wollondilly Medical Centre.
Dr Kosgodage is a qualified General Practitioner with a wealth of international experience.
Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr Kos graduated with an MD degree from Vitebsk State Medical University in Bel specialties and settings, including community care, general practice and public hospitals in Sri Lanka. His diverse expertise encompasses general surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, clinical pathology, intensive care and
anesthesia.
Driven by his passion for emergency medicine, Dr Kos migrated to Australia with his family in 2012. He honed his skills as a CMO in emergency departments at Campbelltown, Camden and Fairfield Hospitals before joining Tahmoor Medical Centre in 2023, followed by Wollondilly Medical Centre in January 2025.
Dr Kos is interested in paediatric care, mental health, emergency care, chronic disease management and community medicine. Currently undergoing General Practice Fellowship training and specialising in skin cancer, he is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements and is fluent in English, Sinhalese and Russian languages.
Patients appreciate Dr Kos' compassionate and holistic approach to healthcare. He firmly believes in providing patient-centred care, ensuring each individual receives personalised attention and support.
Dr Kos consults on Tuesday, Friday & every alternate Saturday.
