Our fabulous Allied Health Assistant completing a fun and energetic combined Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy program yesterday.

Rhi also helped out with the Speech Pathology review and facilitated discussions with the room educators about progress.

We love having students!

This year thus far Baisie has hosted a number of students from various universities as well as local high school work placement.

Having students in our workplace is important to us in supporting the next generation of allied health professionals. Often we learn just as much as they do, with fresh minds and the most up to date knowledge in the industry, their questions and excitement reminds us why we do what we love!

A special thank you to all the wonderful families we work with who are always so willing to allow students to come along to sessions, we appreciate you.

Who loves pizza scrolls!?
Our office is smelling particularly good this morning with our fabulous OT Amanda making some delicious pizza scrolls with a client whose goals are to extend the range of foods they eat.

How is term 2 already over!
School holidays means it’s time for goal review meetings. If we’ve not already been in touch to book for sessions for the holiday period, we will be very soon.
At Baisie we love to celebrate the successes our clients have achieved throughout the term and collaborate with families on the next steps in their journey. We look forward to seeing you all!

This article highlights the absolute heart break we’ve (Baisie clinicians) been experiencing along with our clients and their families since the announcement of NDIS pricing cuts.

In keeping Baisie’s doors open and running a viable business among the economic turmoil, Baisie is no longer able to provide services outside the immediate township of Tamworth.

The impact on our clients, families and educators we work along side is exponential. Like so many others Baisie has raised these concerns with our local MP and we urge you do to the same.

Most importantly Baisie will continue working along side our wonderful families and educators to provide the best supports we can with the circumstances we’ve been dealt.

NDIS pricing reforms are threatening access to essential support.

It is with our sincerest thanks that we accept this nomination!

I’m truly blessed to be surrounded by such fabulous colleagues and exceptional team in skill and genuine passion. Without the wonderful people and the exceptional team they make, Baisie certainly wouldn’t be what it’s grown to be. This is every bit each and every team members celebration as much as it is Baisie’s or my own. I’m so proud of you all and the service we’ve grown and offer to our community. Thanks for all the coffee and laughs along the way!
