☕ The Little Green Teapot ☕

There is a story behind the little green teapot that you enjoy your tea from at the end of your Chakra Healing Journeys...you see a very fond memory I have of my beautiful Nana, was her morning ritual, something that she unknowingly fostered a love of rituals in me.

Nana used to wake up before anyone else in the house...she would boil the jug...and take the little green teapot (not this one) out to the yard and tip the loose leaf tea into the garden often stopping to pull a few weeds or stop and admire a bloom that was becoming in her garden, or acknowledging a little wren swooping around catching insects. This memory is something that has been with me so long that I can't remember her not doing this ritual. She would then return back inside, newspaper under one arm and tea pot in the other, and she would sit down and make a tea-well two actually-because thats how much the pot held and she would sit and enjoy a hot tea, often holding the cup in two hands staring into space and listening to the guidance of spirit. She was extremely wise my Nana, and would often blurt out some little piece of gold wisdom from what seemed like nowhere.

When I started creating my sacred offerings I knew that I wanted to serve your tea in a beautiful green teapot, one that reminded me of the guidance that my Nana gave to me as a child. And so I set about and found this cute little Chinese tea set. So when you are served tea after your healing journey, not only are you being re-hydrated but you are also being invited into a sacred ritual taught and brought about by my beautiful Nana.
