Rural Fit Unleashing the power of movement and freedom of choice to create a healthier rural Australia. Rural Fit AEP's are recognised as allied health professionals.

Rural Fit utilises evidence based assessments, functional education and exercise programs designed by Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP's) to empower their clients to achieve a greater independence
and freedom at home, work in the community and on the sporting field. They are registered with Medicare Australia, the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Workcover NSW, NDIS and have recognition among a number of health insurers. It is our passion to empower each individual client to achieve their goals and provide them with the tools to be able to independently manage.

Can Assist Tamworth do amazing work supporting local cancer patients in getting the help they need.

The tyranny of distance is a major barrier to treatment, and Can Assist help break down that barrier by providing financial assistance, practical support and accommodation to cancer patients in NSW.

This Saturday, I'll be joining our local Can Assist volunteers and Rural Fit in doing the distance for local cancer patients - walking along King George Avenue. Join us!

Our Story

Rural Fit is a team of Allied Health Professionals who live by, prescribe and instill the philosophy “exercise is medicine”. Our team works to empower their clients to assist them in achieving greater independence and improved functionality across all aspects of their lives, from the home, work, in the community and out on the sporting field.

Rural Fit’s team consists of Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s) and Dietitian’s all of whom are very knowledgeable and well learned in their given fields. Our team strongly utilises evidence based practice to provide you with the best quality services. We work to support you with health coaching and accountability programs individually designed to give you and Regional and Rural Australia, a greater freedom of movement and choice.

Rural Fit offers services through Medicare Australia, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Workcover NSW and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), among other health insurers and services.
