The Moon made me do it...
Well anyone who has known me prior to this new beginning will know me from “Artemisia Star” the little massage business I started in Dowe street, back in 2012, when I decided to branch out on my own, after working in another therapists business for a while. I have since completed more studies and gained my Advanced Diploma in Herbal medicine and Diploma of Specialized Bowen therapy. I’ve had another baby, traveled to the other side of the world, run away to the sea side to live with the hippies, learned loads of interesting things, and now I’m moving forward with this new business. More about mojo than money. I’ve canned the shop front and decided to work from home, enabling me to see fewer clients without the stress of making rent money, and being able to really focus of the service I offer. As I find my feet again, back here in Tamworth, I will be compounding healing balms and creams, stocking a wide range of liquid herbal extracts to blend specifically tailored remedies, stocking affordable, great quality essential oils, organic herbal teas, while still offering the fabulous and healing Massage and Bowen that you’ve come to know, love and rely on.
You might even come across some interesting oils, washes, powders and things to support you spiritually as well as physically.
Why Chandra Lily you might say?? well as I said in the title, The moon made me do it... I read a beautiful Hindu story about the God of the Moon, who’s name is Chandra.
He teaches us about the fluidity of life, as the cycle of the moon waxes and wanes, Chandra’s beauty and brilliance increases and diminishes. this shows us that nothing in life is static, when things seem to be the darkest they can be, as with Chandra and the new moon. with the coming days, the light returns, with a renewed strength and vitality. along with his affinity for strength of mind, purity of blood, positive energy and harmony, I thought this is a really positive principal to back my healing practice. along with her beauty and the connection “Lily” has with passion, drive, youth, fertility and purity; its symbolism of renewal and rebirth also spoke to me. hence... we have Chandra Lily... your renewed, reborn holistic wellness practice. I’m looking forward to catching up with those of you whom I haven’t seen in a while as well as meeting and assisting new people to reach optimum wellness.
