To mark International Women’s Day, we’ll be sharing stories that celebrate the women connected to our organisation throughout the week. 🌸

We begin by recognising the incredible women on our Board and the women who inspire them.

From trailblazing leaders to advocates for social change, they shared the women who have shaped their lives and their work. Names like Julia Gillard, Rosie Batty, and Dame Enid Lyons remind us of the powerful role women play in shaping communities, advocating for equality, and creating lasting change.

We are grateful for the leadership, insight, and dedication the women on our Board bring to our organisation every day.

🌱🌼 NEW Gardening Playgroup Starting 3rd March! 🌼🌱

We’re so excited to launch a brand new Gardening Playgroup for children aged 0–5 years!

This hands-on playgroup is all about:
🌿 Connecting with nature
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Strengthening family connection
🌻 Learning real-life skills through play
🌱 Planting, digging, watering & growing together

Little ones will explore the garden, get their hands dirty, and learn where food comes from — all while building confidence, curiosity, and important life skills.

Parents and carers will enjoy meaningful time with their children, connecting, learning, and growing side by side.
This is a project of the Rotary Club of Tamworth First Light.
