For to long we have sat back and said......"It's not our problem, let the Governments fix the problems".

A Chance For Change is a social enterprise being set up for the purpose of people OVER 50 reengaging with the world around them after suffering from acute depression. A CHANCE FOR CHANGE is a Social Enterprise Organisation dedicated to helping people over 50 years of age in Australia regain a true sense of purpose and begin the journey back from the darkness of acute depression. Our Motto is 'IF,

NOTHING CHANGES, NOTHING CHANGES'

HOW

By helping to provide resources (Funding) for both Governmental & Private Service Providers to engage sufferers in beneficial & meaningful educational, social, physical & emotional support programs so they have the tools required to WALK TALL in their communities. We also intend to provide outreach programs to more remote areas that lack a direct conduit to Mental Health Professionals due mainly to a lack of knowledge of how to get assistance. This is not a realistic solution to a very complex growing problem in all communities across the "LUCKY COUNTRY". It is up to all persons in OUR country to do their bit to end the misery for so many people.......and help provide PURPOSE for the those less fortunate. While ever we continue to procrastinate, sufferers of Mental Illnesses will continue to fall through the cracks and as our population continues to age we will in a short few years no longer have the chance to make REAL CHANGE. This beautiful song is dedicated to a lot of blokes I know, (and those I don't) that struggle everyday to contain the 'screaming in their heads' of the complete & total fear & injustice placed upon them by society and the ever shifting goal posts and hoops they have to jump through, just to spend a day (if lucky) with their kids. Well I say......F**K SOCIETY!!! If you know a bloke going through this pain, have the balls to do more than ask RUOK, as if that dissolves you of having to care any further. Just take 5 minutes out of your day & reach out to your mate and work out a time to catch up for a cuppa with them.......that simple act of kindness could save lives.....
