Do your shins get sore from running? 🏃🏼‍♀️

This is one of the most common early warning signs we see, and it’s not something you need to “push through”.

Your body is telling you the load is currently more than what it can tolerate.

But the good news is, you don’t have to stop running completely, you just need to adjust what you’re doing to build that capacity.

- Temporarily reduce volume
- Swap in lower impact movement like a strength training session or Reformer Pilates
- Build calf strength + ankle mobility

Pelvic floor tension isn’t just something that happens during exercise. It can build up after long days on your feet, travelling, carrying your babies for hours, sitting in the car for too long or simply from stress and a busy nervous system.

Sometimes the pelvic floor doesn’t need more strengthening, it needs a space to relax, lengthen and reset.

Try these 3 simple pelvic floor relaxation exercises to help release tension and reconnect with your breath after long days.

Small, simple resets like this can help your body switch off “guard mode” and back into a more relaxed state.
