✨ Welcome to the Team, Millie! ✨

This month we welcomed the lovely Millie as our new Community Engagement Officer. From booking appointments to greeting clients at the door or answering the phone, Millie helps make every step of the Compass journey seamless and welcoming.

A born and bred Tamworth local, Millie has quickly learned the names and schedules of many of our regular clients. Working closely with our Practice Manager, Shenae, she’s already become an integral part of keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

We’re so excited to have you on the team, Millie! 💙

🎥 Did you catch us on 7NEWS New England?

As part of Stroke Awareness Week, we’ve been shining a light on the signs of stroke, the recovery journey, and the importance of lifestyle changes to help prevent a second stroke.

We also took the chance to enjoy a lovely morning tea and celebrate the strength, resilience, and progress of our incredible stroke survivors, alongside their dedicated therapy teams. 💪

Thank-you to the wonderful Ruby (Physio) and Claire (OT) for presenting to the group and Kerrie for sharing her story. 💙

🌟 Welcome to the Team! 🌟

We’re thrilled to introduce two wonderful new faces to the Compass crew, Rachael and Anna, our newest Exercise Physiologists!

With several of our team members heading off on maternity leave, we’re incredibly grateful to welcome Rachel and Anna — and they’ve already slotted in beautifully.

Rachel is a local EP with a broad range of experience and a special interest in paediatrics, bringing passion and energy to her work with little ones.

Anna joins us from Newcastle, where she supported clients in neurological rehabilitation and maintenance therapies across both adult and paediatric populations. She also brings a wealth of experience in aquatic and hydrotherapy.

We’re excited to have them on board and can’t wait for you to meet them!

✨ With our team growing, we now have immediate capacity for Exercise Physiology and are calling for expressions of interest for our popular after school, small gross motor group sessions (ages 4–10), recommencing in Term 4.

📞 Give us a call or submit a referral via our website to find out more.

🌟 Welcome Britt to the Compass Team! 🌟

We’re excited to have Occupational Therapist Britt join us.

Originally from Tenterfield and now a Tamworth local, Britt has a background in Exercise Physiology before completing her Masters of Occupational Therapy. Her passion for rural health care aligns perfectly with our mission, and she has quickly become a valued member of our team.

Britt's clinical interests include paediatrics and basic home/equipment modifications, with plans to expand her skills into upper limb therapy and lymphoedema management.

You can learn more about Britt and our team on our 'Our Team' page.
