Meet Marianne πŸ’™

Marianne is an absolute gem of a person and a true inspiration to everyone around her. Despite her MS diagnosis, she never lets it define or limit her.

Every single year, Marianne takes on the May 50K to raise awareness and support for those living with Multiple Sclerosis. This year, she has set herself an incredible goal to walk over 760km! πŸ‘Ÿβœ¨

Marianne doesn’t just do this challenge for herself, but for every person who has received an MS diagnosis and for the wider MS community. Her determination, positivity, and resilience are nothing short of amazing.

Marianne is living proof that nothing is impossible, and we are so incredibly proud and honoured to have her as part of our Compass Community πŸ’™

Make sure you watch to the end! πŸ’™

NeuroActive group veteran Trev is up and moving on his new prosthetic thanks to APC Prosthetics and his Physio/EP team!

Six years after a fall resulting in a fractured hip, Trev has been reliant on crutches and a power chair for mobility. He is now working in the ceiling track harness with Physiotherapist Annie, building confidence, balance, and coordination to support his goal of returning to community walking.
A fantastic effort, Trev, well done! πŸ‘

This is what Bob set out to achieve. πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†

Consistency, incremental gains and a tailored rehab approach have helping Bob work toward his goals.

Cheers to Bob and his therapy team! πŸ’ͺπŸŽ‰

Assistive technology can be a powerful support for functional literacy, helping people access reading and writing in ways that suit their needs.

Tools like text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and visual supports reduce barriers and build independence for both children and adults.

More than just helping with school or work, AT supports everyday tasks like messaging, emailing, and participating in the community, supporting real access. βœ¨πŸ’™
