Only 5.5 weeks till CQ Play Therapy will be opening its doors in Tannum Sands 💛🏡

As a trained Child-Centred Play Therapist and a member of the Play Therapy Practitioners Association (PTPA), I am deeply passionate about creating a gentle, safe space where children feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

With over 10 years of experience in the education sector, I also bring a strong understanding of the schooling system, and the challenges children can face within it.

At CQ Play Therapy, children aged 2–13 are supported to explore their feelings, work through life’s challenges, and grow in confidence — all through the natural language of play 🧸🎨🌈

Every child’s story matters, and sometimes big feelings can be hard to put into words.

• Anxiety or worries 😟
• Big emotions or difficulty regulating feelings
• Behavioural challenges
• Social or friendship struggles
• Changes within the family (e.g. separation, new siblings) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
• Trauma or overwhelming life events
• Grief and loss 💔
• Low confidence or self-esteem 🌱
• School-related concerns

Monday – 8:15am (fortnightly)
Tuesday – 8:10am (weekly/fortnightly) & 9:10am (fortnightly only), 4:30pm (fortnightly)
Wednesday – 8:10am (fortnightly only) 9:10am (weekly/fortnightly), 4:30pm (weekly)

A small number of daytime appointments are also available — please reach out to learn more.

What you can expect:
• After-school and daytime appointments (Monday–Thursday) ⏰
• A calm, welcoming, child-focused space 🏡
• Support for NDIS participants (Self-Managed and Plan-Managed) 🤝
