A little appreciation post for two of the legends we get to work with — Dan from and Cassie from the .

At Beyond Wellness Co., collaboration isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s the heart of how we create and all we do.
It’s how we bring together the best of South Australia: nature, wine, movement, and meaning.

Working with people who are passionate, generous and up for the ride (literally 🚲🍷) makes this work feel even more special.

Grateful for the friendships, the ideas, and the energy that comes from building something bigger — together.

One of our favourite ways to celebrate —

✨ Nature, views, and a chef-prepared picnic with soul. We loved looking out this special group for their end of year celebrations.

There’s something special that happens when you gather outside.
The fresh air. The slowing down. The feeling of being a million miles away (when you’re really not).
The laughter that lingers longer. The way food tastes better under a big sky.

Gosh we really do love what we do!

As we are coming closer to the end of the year, everything seems to get faster and faster — calendars fill, schools finishing, energy dips, and the pressure to say yes to it all can feel overwhelming.

So here is a little reminder for anyone needing it.

But here’s your reminder: no is a full sentence.
And more than that — it’s an act of care.

Saying no doesn’t make you difficult or selfish.
It makes you discerning.
It protects your peace.
It honours your nervous system.
It makes space for what actually matters to you.

You don’t need a big, dramatic boundary (though sometimes those are necessary too).
Sometimes it’s a micro-dose:
– Saying no to one more late night
– Skipping an event to stay home and breathe
– Taking a slower morning
– Choosing rest over one more “should”

This time of year can pull us in a million directions. But what if you chose your direction with intention?

Listen in. Get quiet. Trust yourself.
There’s strength in the softness. And so much power in your no xx

Concierge-Style Chicken Caesar Salad

A Beyond Wellness Co. favourite — simple, satisfying, and picnic-perfect.

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

2 chicken breasts (grilled or roasted, sliced)

1 medium cos or romaine lettuce (washed & chopped)

1/2 cup shaved parmesan cheese

1 cup sourdough croutons (store-bought or homemade)

2 boiled eggs (halved)

Optional: crispy bacon pieces or roasted chickpeas

Dressing

1/2 cup whole egg mayo

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1–2 garlic cloves (crushed)

Juice of half a lemon

Salt & cracked black pepper to taste

Optional: 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped (or a dash of anchovy paste)

Water to loosen, if needed

Method

Whisk together all dressing ingredients until creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

In a large bowl, toss chopped lettuce with dressing to coat.

Layer with sliced chicken, shaved parmesan, eggs, and croutons.

Sprinkle with bacon or chickpeas if using.

Finish with extra dressing and fresh black pepper.

💡 Tip: Pack deconstructed for a picnic — keep the dressing in a jar and assemble on site for crisp freshness.

My new art piece just arrived........ and this one says it all. I can't express how much this gives me joy!

For anyone who needs a reminder to back yourself.
To trust your gut.
To speak up when your boundaries are crossed.
To remember: you want what you want — full stop.

I love the colour, the boldness, the cheek — and the strength.
It’s playful and powerful.
Soft and strong.
Just like us.

Also — major love and admiration for , the incredible artist behind this piece. A fierce creative, a generous soul, and someone who believes deeply in backing other women. ✨

If you needed a sign… this is it. Keep going. Keep trusting. You’ve got this. xx

Today is International Day of the Girl, and this year’s theme is:
“The girl I am, the change I lead.”

For those of us raising girls, working with girls, or simply walking beside them — it’s a moment to pause.

To ask:
How are we encouraging voice?
How are we showing them it’s safe to speak up?
To be bold, sensitive, curious — even a little sassy sometimes?

It’s not always easy (is it ever?)........esp with the sassiness!.
But the truth is — that spark, that confidence, that courage to say what they want and claim space — is what will change everything.

So today, we celebrate our girls.
And we promise to show them that anything is possible — not just by telling them, but by living it.

Voice matters.
Sass is welcome.
And big dreams? Always.

Shout out to my Dad — always in the background, always my biggest supporter.

Yesterday he drove from the Barossa to Adelaide to drop off catering for our early-morning and Adelady shoot in the Parklands. And honestly… that’s just one of many moments over the years.

Since the business started in 2018, Dad has been there:
→ Believing in my dreams
→ Driving guests to experiences
→ Painting premises
→ Helping set up and pack up retreats
→ Delivering gear all over the place
→ Dropping things off when I forget things (ooopppsss)
→ Looking after Ava when I’ve needed space to lead and grow (and of course big shout out to my Mum too!)
I could go on and on.

The near daily calls or messages asking of there is anything I need today.

It’s often said it takes a village to raise a child — and I truly believe the same applies in business.
None of this happens alone.

It takes belief, grit, and the kind of support that shows up without needing the spotlight. I’ve been lucky to have that — not just from Dad, but from so many people who’ve walked alongside me.

If you’re chasing your dream, building something from scratch, or stepping into your own arena… surround yourself with people who get it, and who’ve got your back.

I’m feeling that in spades at the moment. And I’m Beyond grateful.

Thank you to the team from and Adeladyfor capturing this pic! Special for a million reasons xx

This isn’t the kind of post I expected to write.

A couple of months ago, I was invited to be a guest on The Mentor podcast, hosted by Mark Bouris. I felt nervous, excited. That quiet kind of nervousness, “Are you really the right person for this?”

But I said yes. Because I believe in showing up — even when it’s uncomfortable. Definitely a muscle I am continuing to working on.

The actual experience? Let’s just say it was an interesting experience for many reasons. It felt a little confronting. Jarring, even. I left the recording not sure if I’d said what I needed to or wanted to. I wondered if it landed — or if I did. The inner voice was pretty loud.

And so when the episode was released at the beginning of the week, I had a new decision to make: Do I share this? Do I let people hear it? Again the inner voice was loud.

I journaled. I talked with a friend who was very kind. I checked in with the stories I was telling myself — about failure, about not being “enough,” about being seen.

And then I came back to one of my all time favorite quotes:
"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles... The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena…"

That quote changed something in me. Because the truth is — I was in the arena. I am in the arena.

Saying yes to opportunities that stretch me. Speaking about things in a world that often wants something more polished. Trying to build something meaningful, grounded, and human-first.

And if you’re reading this, feeling like you’re sitting on the edge of your own arena — wondering if you’re ready…
This is your sign to step in. So much is on the other side.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer isn’t advice — it’s presence.

Today is R U OK? Day. A day to remind us that checking in, really checking in, can change everything.

And it takes courage — not just to answer honestly, but to ask the question in the first place. Especially when you sense something’s not quite right with someone you care about.

For me personally, the last 12–18 months have brought their own challenges. There were moments when I felt heavy, stuck, unsure and really questioning my value. But it was the persistence of a few special people — who know me well enough to notice when I’m not quite myself — that helped shift things.

They asked the question. They prodded. They ignored me brushing things off as my typical go to. And eventually, I opened up. From those conversations came change. I sought support, made decisions that felt hard but true, and slowly returned to the practices I know support my wellbeing.

The hard things haven’t disappeared — but I feel steadier in them now. More clearer and stronger.

So today, and every day, be brave enough to ask. And open enough to answer.

💛 You never know what it might unlock.
