Celebrating Years of Service Awards! 🌟

This month, we proudly recognised our incredible team members who have reached significant milestones in their journey with Lutheran Homes Barossa. We recognised 51 staff members for their dedication — including those marking 3, 5, 8, and 10 years, as well as 6 team members who have each devoted over 20 years of service, with our current longest-serving staff member achieving an amazing 37 years! 👏
Your commitment, compassion, and hard work make a lasting difference in the lives of our residents and the heart of our community. 💛

To honour this special occasion, a beautiful lunch was enjoyed by the award recipients — a small token of our gratitude for the years of care, teamwork, and excellence you bring to Lutheran Homes Barossa every day.
One of our residents was delighted to offer their time to capture photos of the celebration, adding a personal touch to the event.
We’re so proud to have such dedicated people as part of our LHB family. 💐

Remembrance Day 2025 ❤️
Our residents and staff gathered in the Gramp Chapel for a moving Remembrance Day service — a time to pause, reflect, and honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all who have fought and continue to serve our country.
In the lead-up to November 11, our residents proudly joined the Tanunda RSL’s Poppy Garden of Remembrance project, contributing handmade poppies through knitting, crocheting, and painting.
This beautiful initiative brought people together — inspiring creativity, new friendships, and a shared sense of gratitude as we remembered those who served.
A heartfelt thank you to Imprint Flowers in Gawler, for once again crafting our stunning wreath, adding a special touch to this day of reflection and remembrance.

We’re proud to be a drop-off location — if you’d like to contribute, please bring your donations to Main Reception or any of the Nurses’ Stations within our facility. Your generosity helps spread kindness and joy throughout our community, and we’re grateful to everyone who joins us in making a difference this Christmas. 🎄

Who was first past the post? 🏇🏻
Our residents and staff had a fantastic afternoon celebrating the Melbourne Cup in true style — with fabulous outfits, fancy hats, and plenty of laughter!
From our very stylish Best Dressed winners to the friendly race-day rivalries, there were smiles all around — and as they say, winners are grinners!
What a wonderful way to come together and enjoy the excitement of the race that stops the nation! ✨

Pets have a wonderful way of filling our days with joy, comfort, and companionship. 🐶
At Lutheran Homes Barossa, we love seeing the special bonds our residents share with their furry (and sometimes feathered!) friends.
Our Retirement Living residents are welcome to share their home with their chosen pet — because we know how much happiness a loyal companion can bring.
Pets brighten our days, spark conversation, and add that extra touch of warmth that makes our communities feel like home.
A wag, a purr, a cheerful chirp — our animal friends fill our days with love and laughter, here at Lutheran Homes Barossa.

🍷 Bus Trip Fun at Levrier Wines! 🍇

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to Levrier Wines, hosted by the lovely Jo Irvine and her family, who are part of our Lutheran Homes Barossa community.

It was a fantastic day spent exploring the beautiful winery, learning about its rich history and how it all came together — and of course, sampling some delicious wines, which received some big thumbs up!!

We were also greeted by Jo’s two gorgeous greyhounds, Benny and Daphne, who made the perfect welcome party and quickly stole everyone’s hearts. 🐾

A big thank you to Jo and her family for their warm hospitality and for creating such a memorable experience for everyone! 💛
