👋👋 It's time to say farewell to our amazing arts therapist Casey!

🥹 Gosh I don't know where to start!

🫶 Casey has touched the hearts of many art therapy clients who have walked through the studio doors and she will be dearly missed by us all!

💞 I am so grateful for Casey's unwaivering support and compassion throughout her time with us.

I couldn't have asked for a better person to work alongside with, sharing all the feels through balancing the celebrations, challenges and changes that life can bring 👣 I think it's safe to say that we have both learned and grown so much during our time together 🌼🌼🌼

💜 Casey, a big THANK YOU! I wish you all the best for the many new and exciting opportunities that I know your future adventures have to offer 🥳

💖 So what are you doing that's creative today? It doesn't have to mean painting or drawing...because life is art and we're always creating in some way 🌻

🙌 Let's embrace being creative in all it's forms and build our creative self-confidence!

Reflecting on preferred ways of being 💜

"Geshe Thupten Jinpa, who has been the Dalai Lama's chief English translator for more than 20 years, shared an insight with us recently about the nature of creativity. Jinpa pointed out that there's no word in the Tibetan language for "creativity" or "being creative". The closest translation is "natural". In other words, if you want to be more creative, you just have to be more natural. We forget that in kindergarten, we were all creative. We all played and experimented and tried out weird things without fear or shame. We didn't know enough not to. The fear of social rejection is something we learned as we got older. And that's why it's possible to regain our creative abilities so swiftly and powerfully decades later.

It turns out that creativity isn't some rare gift to be enjoyed by the lucky few - it's part of natural human thinking and behaviour. In too many of us it gets blocked. But it can be unblocked. And unblocking that creative spark can have far-reaching implications for yourself, your organisation, and your community."
