Please welcome our newest Podiatrist - Mindy
Mindy graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Newcastle and received the Clinical Cadetship Award for her dedication. Her training included intensive experience in the New South Wales public health system, with a focus on high-risk foot clinics, wound care, and multidisciplinary limb salvage.
With a prior Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and experience as the Leader of Physiotherapist Interns in Taiwan, she brings a unique combination of skills in orthopaedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, and stroke recovery, enabling her to address foot and lower-limb conditions with a holistic approach to movement.
In addition to her clinical degrees, as a Personal Physiotherapist, she has trained professional cyclists and professional golfers. Her expertise in elite performance enables her to deliver advanced biomechanical and rehabilitation plans for athletes and active individuals alike.
Mindy is deeply committed to giving back; she has volunteered twice at the APodA Conferences and provided essential foot health screenings for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities during NAIDOC Week. Additionally, she holds certifications in ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach, Mental Health First Aid and Anti-Doping Fundamentals, reflecting her comprehensive approach to patient wellbeing.
Beyond the clinic before her healthcare career, Mindy was a professional cyclist for Taiwan for over a decade. She continues to pursue her passion for sports as a dedicated triathlete and holiday golfer. Now a resident of Adelaide, she enjoys exploring Australia through camping when she isnβt training or in the clinic.
