🚣‍♀️🚣‍♀️ Learn to row back on this Saturday folks. Why not give it a go and test that theory that you’ll love it 🙌😊. Just need shorts (not too loose) a tshirt, hat, sunscreen and a drink bottle and you’re all set to go. Be at the boat house at Endeavour Place on Saturday at 7.15am - see you there!

🙌💪 Huge congratulations to Manning River’s very own Ollie Samson on earning selection in the NSW Rowing Junior Pathway Team (aka the state squad!) 🚣‍♂️

This is a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment and early mornings Ollie has put in throughout the season. It’s great to see that effort rewarded on the state stage.

We have power boats on the river and at the rowing club this long weekend so there will be no rowing allowed from Friday until Monday 6 April. We wish everyone a very Happy Easter and relaxing break.

Tricky conditions this morning on the Manning, a big tide with some wind, but eight Learn to Rowers decided to mix things up, swapping sculls for the eight and heading out for something a little different. It’s always great to see people stepping out of their comfort zone, trying new boats, and building confidence on the water.

Plenty of smiles, a few laughs, and by all accounts a fantastic time had by everyone — exactly what it’s all about. Looking forward to seeing what they take on next!

Congrats to the 12 learn to row participants this morning who attended the rowing club’s beginner programme. All champions have to start somewhere and learn to row is a great start for the foundation skills. Loved the enthusiasm and commitment to get out there and give it a try. Well done people 💪🙌👍
