Today is Remembrance Day.

Many of us are busy with work and everyday life. If you can not get to a service today, I hope that at 11:00am everyone can pause for a moment to remember those who served our country.

Their bravery and sacrifice helped give us the freedom we have today.

Please also remember the military animals — the horses, dogs, and other animals who worked beside our soldiers. They also gave so much.

Think of the families too — the wives, children, and loved ones who lost someone they cared about. Their pain and sacrifice are part of this day as well.

At 10:30am, I will lower my flag to half-mast. At 11:00am, I will stop and take a minute to silently remember them.

Lest we forget. 🌺 🇦🇺
