Just to keep you updated, we received this email recently, “

Richard these last 10 cards have now been activated.
Again my thanks to the Rotary Club of Taree on Manning and to you personally for your help in the distribution.
Since May this year Rotary has distributed $128,000 worth of fuel cards to the people in rural areas in NSW and Queensland affected by floods. At the same time we have provided $157,000 of fuel to move fodder to feed drought affected cattle and sheep in South Australia.

Make sure you make it to Bizarre Beats next Saturday.

It’s on at the beautiful Manning River Banks of the Shoreline Tavern grounds. 40 stalls of different varieties, from cakes and fudge to 3D printing. Salami tasting to sipping Limoncello, try Liquorice and massage oils.
WE’VE GOT IT ALL!
Happy Dave will entertain us with live music and special effects for Kids.
2 local students show off their busking skills.
3 different Car Clubs will proudly present their pride and joy. 🚘
Marine Rescue 🛥️and the RFS🚒 will be there too.
So come on down this Saturday the 13th September and try your luck in our monster raffle 🎁 🎁 🎁 and enjoy the day.

ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS !!
Expressions of interest !!
Who wants to participate in sculptures by the river ?
This picture is from sculptures by the sea and this event attracts people from everywhere and a huge boost for the economy and the art world.
This event will launch in Harrington with other areas to follow.
If we get some great support from our local artists wanting to be a part of this.
The other exciting part is to feature recycling of plastics into a sculpture and there will be a kids participation section too.
This gives an opportunity of expression and maybe joining in groups to collaborate and create something amazing and it will be on display for everyone to enjoy.
If you want to be a part of this please comment on this post. Please also state whether you prefer solo or to collaborate with others.
If there are any groups or art groups, or schools wanting to be a part of this, we want to hear from you too.
At this stage it's just an expression of interest so everyone "please share" this and get it out there.
I really want to see this happening.
Our community has been through so much and this can be such a positive thing to happen. As other areas also come onboard we create an art trail and an annual event for people to travel and visit our beautiful region 🥰🖌️🎨

Glad the weather was great when we went on tour to the Marine Rescue station at Harrington today. Great to meet up with local experts that let us know a little more about their process and how we can assist if out boating. We were happy to send some funds their way as they look to protect us all. A big thank you from us all.
