👁️ It’s JulEYE – National Eye Health Awareness Month 👁️

This month, we’re proud to support JulEYE, a national campaign raising awareness about the importance of eye health, early detection, and preventing avoidable vision loss.

We’d like to give a big thank you to our incredible ophthalmologists and dedicated ophthalmic surgical nursing teams. Your expertise, care, and commitment help protect the gift of sight every day.

💙 From working closely with GPs and optometrists to delivering advanced surgical care, your impact on patients' lives is something to celebrate.

🔍 Why it matters?
Up to 75% of vision loss is preventable or treatable with regular eye checks.

👓 Protect your vision:
• Book your eye test this July
• Wear UV-blocking sunglasses
• Use protective eyewear for DIY projects
• Follow the 20‑20‑20 rule for screen time
• Eat a healthy, eye-friendly diet
• Quit smoking

This JulEYE, let’s look after our eyes—and thank the amazing teams who do just that every day.

🔒 World Day for Safety and Health at Work – 28 April 🌿

Today, we proudly stand with the global community in recognising the importance of safe, healthy, and respectful workplaces.

First acknowledged by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in 2003, this day reminds us that cultivating a strong safety culture is not just a responsibility — it’s a commitment we uphold every day for our patients, our staff, and our communities.

Across our clinical teams and support services, we maintain a sharp focus on continuous improvement, clearly defined responsibilities, and a shared commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of everyone in our care and within our teams.

Because safe and healthy work environments aren't optional — they’re essential.
