Taking time out isn’t a luxury, it’s part of staying well 💛

From Friday to today, I’ve taken a few days away in beautiful Marysville with a girlfriend… and it’s been exactly what my body and soul were calling for 🌿

Nature walks, fresh air, stillness…
Inner peace, calmness, serenity… all the things that get lost in the noise of everyday life.

But also something deeper surfaced—
The playful, lighter version of me… the “girly” side that had been quietly hidden beneath the roles of mother, wife, carer and business owner.
She needed space to come out again. And honestly, she deserves to be here more often ✨

With the constant doing, holding, and showing up for everyone else… plus the layers of stress on top of that…
I realised I had to consciously step away from everything to reconnect.♥️

It wasn’t just a want—it was something I had to choose.

My body was already speaking to me.
I was going to work feeling unwell, still healing, pushing through…
And deep down, I knew I needed to stop and listen.🫣

So I did.

I created space.
I allowed myself to step away.

It’s been a while since I’ve truly connected here.❤️

After losing both my brother and my father, life took me on a journey through grief, fear, and moments where I felt completely lost and disconnected.

I thought I could step straight back into work… but grief has its own rhythm.

There were days I didn’t want to see or talk to anyone. Even walking into my office felt overwhelming. So I did something I rarely allow myself to do — I stepped back and gave myself space to process everything.

Using the same holistic tools I share with my clients — journaling, emotional release, reflection, and reconnecting with myself — I slowly began to find my way back.

The spark returned. Not overnight, but gently.

And, This week I’ve stepped back into my seat again as a Clinical Nutritionist, Metabolic Balance Coach, Reconnective Healer, and Emotional Release Practitioner — with even more heart, soul, compassion, and wisdom from my own journey.

My clinic has always been more than just a place for consultations. It’s a safe space where women can feel supported, speak openly, laugh, cry, and truly be themselves — often feeling more like family.

I’m grateful to be back supporting women and their families on their healing journeys.

After enjoying a wide variety of foods over the past couple of months, I began noticing some changes in my body — inflammation in my hips and hands, hot flushes, weight gain, digestion not working as optimally, fatigue running the show, and sugar cravings sneaking back in.😫
