New evidence has shown that eating ultra processed foods consecutively for as little as 5 days has a detrimental effect on your health. Addiction begins and new pathways are created to ensure you continue to consume them.

Unfortunately, ultra processed food makes up to 42% of the typical Australian diet.
Some examples of these types of foods are:

Sweetened breakfast cereals
Sodas
Processed cheese
White bread
Energy drinks
Potato chips
Lollies
Chocolate
Fast food ie McDonalds, KFC and similar

Check your pantries and supermarket trollies for these items as they can creep up over time, and before you know it you’re eating them daily.
