One of Dave’s goals is to create a social circle and have a good group of friends, so he very much enjoyed meeting Bailey Smith the other night with his mate Boyd (and others who don’t like to be photographed). Was a great night out and the boys got to meet one of their favourite players from one of their fav teams, while enjoying some jokes and footy banter between mates.
Bailey was very kind to us all and even said Happy birthday to Boyd 🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙

Meet Brodie and Bri. Brodie is one of incredible supported employees who has been with are-able for 5 years and working in BRS’s for 12months. Brodie loves the confidence working here has given him and the fact that he is always learning new things.
Bri is one of our hardworking support workers and has also been with us for 12months. Bri loves that it’s always busy in BRS’s and the the opportunity to support our incredible supported employees.

Boyd and I are at the MCG cheering on our team. During the season we have worked hard to navigate through the uncomforable feelings caused by crowds, the pushing and touching in crowded places, the loud noises and the bright lights, and I can honestly say the progress Boyd has made in this environment has been great. Starting out being extremely uncomfortable, nervous, panicking (just to name a couple of feelings), to now sitting comfortably enjoying the game and jumping up and cheering.. while Boyd has come such a long way, we have also got a solid routine in place of getting food prior to the game starting to avoid getting caught up un the crowd, going to the toilet prior to the breaks and using our regular parking. So proud of our achievements at KIARA 🩷🩷
