🌿 Stress Awareness Month – April 🌿

April is Stress Awareness Month, a time to pause, reflect, and check in with ourselves and those around us. 💚

Stress can affect everyone differently, and for many of our participants, carers, and support workers, it can be part of everyday life. That’s why it’s so important to recognise the signs, take small steps to manage it, and reach out for support when needed.

At CHG Care, we believe in supporting not just physical wellbeing, but emotional and mental health too. Whether it’s getting out into the community, having a chat, or taking a moment to reset — it all matters.

✨ Remember:
It’s okay to slow down
It’s okay to ask for help
You’re not alone

Let’s continue to support one another and create a community where wellbeing comes first. 💙

Today we recognise the importance of health and wellbeing for everyone in our community. At CHG Care, we are proud to support participants to live healthier, more independent lives — whether that’s through community access, personal care, or building daily living skills.

Good health looks different for everyone, and every small step matters. From getting outdoors, staying active, connecting with others, and prioritising mental wellbeing — it all counts.

Let’s continue working together to support a healthier, stronger community.

World Bipolar Day is an opportunity to move beyond surface-level awareness and toward something more meaningful: understanding, compassion, and real support. People living with bipolar disorder deserve to be met with accurate information, less stigma, and communities that know how to show up with care. Awareness matters, but support is what helps people feel seen, respected, and less alone.

One of our beautiful carers shared this with us, and it truly resonated 💜

Supporting someone living with dementia teaches us so much.

We are so grateful for the compassion and dedication our carers bring each day, making a difference through understanding, kindness, and genuine care. It’s not always easy, but our carers show up day in and day out with compassion, understanding, and dedication learning some of life's deepest lessons.

We love it when participants share their happy smiles while out and about in the community 😊

One of our long-time participants recently enjoyed spending time at a local park, soaking up the fresh air, and getting out to explore. Community access is all about building confidence, staying active, creating meaningful connections, and promoting independence — and moments like these are what it’s all about 💛

At CHG Care, we’re passionate about supporting participants to engage in activities they enjoy and helping them stay connected with their community.

💙 World Down Syndrome Day – 21 March 💙

Today, on World Down Syndrome Day, CHG Care stands in support of inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for people living with Down syndrome.

At CHG Care, we are passionate about creating a community where every individual is valued, empowered, and supported to live life their way. We recognise the unique strengths, personalities, and contributions of people with Down syndrome and celebrate the diversity they bring to our communities.

This year is a reminder to promote understanding, challenge stereotypes, and advocate for meaningful inclusion in all aspects of life—education, employment, and everyday living.

💙 Let’s continue to build a more inclusive future together
💙 Let’s celebrate abilities, not limitations
💙 Let’s support choice, independence, and meaningful connections
