WHAT IS SPIRITUALITY 💫
"Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature".
I've been a massage therapist for 22 yrs.
I was popular straight away as I'm sure Reiki was attracting my clients back. (I was as green as the grass at massage but was blitzing it)💫
On one particular day I had a very sick person on my table.
He had many illnesses, so I decided to do Reiki to finish the session.
My dad had passed over about 6 yrs previous to this.
It was a sudden passing which shocked & rocked our small home town who loved him.
The person I was treating was doing do poorly. I asked dad "If you are there dad, can you give this person some Reiki at his feet"?
The session ends when I leave the room to wash my hands & bring back a class of water.
On my return, the client said he knew I had left his head as he felt the gentle lift of my hands.
But he said I thought you were still at my feet as the same heat generating from your hands were definitely on me.
But how could that be??
Was my dad helping me that day??
I began my own survey.
Every person who came in & were in need of Reiki either I was at their feet & would ask dad to do their head.
Every time, they would comment on their own or when asked, they would describe the feeling of me being in two places at once!
This is when I began believing I was getting outside help from another Source!
Time went by. Always asking dad to step in when needed, or the client would just pipe up & say "It feels like someone else is in the room"?
Then, as if I had to be convinced by the other side, I began getting this voice in my head saying certain things to do with my client.
I felt there was a vortex of Energy sitting in the Left hand corner of the room where bad energy would lift up & be taken from the person.
I learnt to ground myself daily into Mother Earth's core.
I even had a ritual of protection but these days I'm covered automatically.
This voice would come to me when I had a difficult diagnosis from the Reflexology.
He identified himself as 'Alfred'.
We talked back & forward about the person discussing what was the best treatment for them.
It was like having a friend yo bounce things off & we even had laughs together...he had a sense of humour.
Or so I thought!!
I made the mistaje of calling him "Alf" one day & he never came back.
Well when I say that, he did come back briefly after about 3 mths.
I apologised profusely as I Never meant to hurt his feelings.
He said it was OK...that his time was up anyway. His job was done. He was sent to show me proof that the other side IS contactable.
I have many other examples BUT I think this will start enough controversy.
