Wakely and Semmelweis would turn over in their graves at what is currently happening in US health care. Whooping cough and measles cases are rising exponentially in southern states, proving that denying germs and effective preventative treatments does what we all feared, and that it kills babies, as awful as the truth is once it is spelled out.
