Some of you may have noticed most of my posting has been on my Stretch Yourself Strong pages as a way to seperate my clinical work. 😐
And I do find posting to social media an absolute mission.

🕺 But here's something at least that has a fair bit of crossover.
And it has been blowing up on the Youtubes, especially given that I usually get around 100 views and 2 likes.

Just because you can lift heavy or are training your hamstrings with exercises like deadlifts, it doesn’t mean you are injury proofing your hamstrings. 🧐

👉🏻 If you want to prevent injury then you need to make sure you;
✅ Train at a variety of angles
✅ Train end range strength

There’s some solid changes in gait pattern here..and the videos are only 1 week apart! 🚶🏻‍♂️

There’s still some work to do but it’s awesome to not only see these changes, but to also hear about the massive differences they have made for this client’s well being and comfort. 🥳

Never ceases to amaze me what can be done when you get the body to do the right stuff!

🎉 Pain-free in 2 sessions!

Big fan of these sessions.
Today I had a client report back free of pain, after months of debilitating knee pain.
It never ceases to amaze me what the body can do when you get it to do the right stuff. 🤯

But sometimes people don’t get a chance.

They see a few therapists, get a bit of a bum steer, or maybe they don’t do the stuff.

⏰ Nek minit, they’re on a table getting surgery for something that they could have sorted if they did the right exercises.
And all it took this client today was a few minutes every day.

👉🏻We;
1. Figured out what may be causing pain
2. Looked at gait patterns and did some retraining around these
3. Performed daily active stretches to help get the pelvis in an optimal position
4. Daily activation work to assist with gait
5. Strengthened muscles around the knee as a final seal the deal

Sometimes people think they’ve tried everything. If that’s you, let me know.📲
You might not have, and everyday there’s people getting surgery that could have avoided it.

Here's some of the things I'm doing over on my Stretch Yourself Strong page.

I separated the 2 pages so that this one here more represents what I'm doing face to face...but to be fair I mega struggle to commit to doing any social media stuff!

As some of you may know, a few weeks back I had some pretty solid surgery. 🤕

🎥This video is me 3 weeks post surgery.

Most people would be looking at at least 6 weeks to get back to this.
🦸🏻‍♂️ And I’m not super man…very far from it actually.

I just have a good understanding of how to get back to these sort of things, and I know how to create the foundation that means you can get back to this stuff quickly.

👉🏻I want to help some more people do this.

🎉So I’m opening up the 4 phase fitness program again. 🎉

This is face to face only, and you can attend anywhere from once a month, or once a week or more.

We'll work through 4 Phases that include;
⚖️1. Improving stability and tightness, asymmetry, and pain causing stuff, efficiency so you can move efficiently and without pain and tightness.

🧗‍♀️ 2. Fatigue tolerance through optimal positions and endurance so can train hard without wrecking yourself.

💪 3. Maximise strength through full range of motion so you can maximise your performance and push harder than ever without worrying about hurting yourself or being sore tomorrow.

🏆 4. Max out performance, fitness and peak for sport specific training where needed so you can brag to everyone for hitting your personal best!

Up to you.

But I know this. You’ll finish with a program that will see more success in making you pain free, strong and ready to push yourself into whatever you want than anything you’ve done before. 💪🏻

You could continue to cycle those 12 weeks forever. (I acytually had someone message me this week that is still doing the programs I taught home 5 years ago…..right !!?)

You won’t need a trainer again and probably won’t need physio again unless you dramatically wreck yourself. This is the fastest and most cost effective way for you to finally reach your fitness goals. I’ll call upon all my stuff; my years of training elite athletes, my rehab work, etc

I've been a bit absent form this page, and some of you might have seen on my other socials about my recent surgery a few weeks ago...and some haven't.

In any case, I'm back at Erina seeing people and helping them rehab or reduce injury, and improve performance, alongside all the other walks of life coming through the door.
