The NoosaCare philosophy is to care for the Residents of the Community with encouragement, kindness and compassion, and to uphold their dignity, privacy and comfort while conducting the administration and provision of services in the highest professional manner. NoosaCare provides a future where people continue to make lifestyle choices as they age. NoosaCare has been providing a full range of residential aged care services since 1984. With two community owned, non-profit centres, NoosaCare has set the standard and developed an excellent model for services attuned to the special needs of our residents. NoosaCare prides itself on Care, Quality and Service to our Resident Community. Against a magnificent background of native bushland, Carramar’s grounds are planted with huge trees, glorious flowering shrubs and citrus. Kabara comes from the Kabi Tribe of Aboriginals meaning "A Place of Rest" or "Home" and is also set in beautiful grounds overlooking native bushland. Caring Professionals:
NoosaCare is accredited by the Commonwealth to a full range of care services across the spectrum of care needs. Full time professionals include a qualified Group Care Manager who supervises the nursing sector of the facilities. Carramar and Kabara staff selection combined with continuing training, ensures a special standard of care. Commonwealth Supervision and Funding:
Carramar and Kabara are Commonwealth-approved residential aged care facilities. You can feel secure in the knowledge that the Commonwealth provides a level of funding for your care needs (subject to means-testing) and the Commonwealth supervises and regulates NoosaCare's standards and level of care. Transport:
Local bus service to surrounding areas. The NoosaCare bus transports residents to various outings and destinations. Your Health:
Initially your care needs will be assessed. During your residency at NoosaCare your health will be carefully monitored and your care will be upgraded as required. Where to Apply:

We recently introduced the Pixie into our weekly Lifestyle program!

The Pixie is an interactive projector that displays light-based games onto tables, walls, or ceilings. Residents engage through gentle hand and arm movements as the images respond to their touch.

It also provides calming ceiling projections for gentle sensory engagement.

• Cognitive and sensory stimulation
• Social interaction in a relaxed setting

This concert was one to remember. Our special guest Will, delivered a wonderful performance. It was lovingly dedicated to his Grandma Joan, a much-loved resident at NoosaCare. A touching tribute that brought smiles, applause, and a few happy tears. 🎶✨

Meet Margaret and Robert.

Married for 60 years, they say the secret to a happy life together is sticking by each other and enjoying plenty of afternoon teas! ☕💛

They first met on a farm just outside of Launceston and have cherished memories of camping and travelling together ever since.

Their love story reminds us that the little moments are what truly last a lifetime!
