Give yourself extra time coming into Tewantin the coming week ahead

🚧 HILTON TCE UPDATE 🚧
Allow a little extra travel time if heading through Hilton Terrace from tomorrow (Wednesday, July 29), through to Tuesday next week.
Contractors will be pouring the new road surface – which will require lane closures.
The asphalt through the new roundabout will be poured Wednesday and Thursday nights to minimise the impact on the community.
The rest of the asphalt will be poured during the day on Monday and Tuesday.

If anyone has heard about the Nike shoe that broke the 2hr marathon it also this week broke the 5km world record by an eye watering 27seconds. World athletics is scrambling to avoid another issue like what plagued swimming during the speed suit debacle. With it being an Olympic year it will be watch this space! The best marketing Nike could ask for in the mean time!

Athletics has become embroiled in a footwear technology war, but where do you draw the line from innovation which pushes a sport forward, to that stage when technology has gone too far?
