🌟Community Spotlight: Supporting Red Cross🌟

We had the pleasure of partnering with the Tewantin Noosa Red Cross for our monthly LiveLife Community Support Program, alongside the amazing Sue and Val. Together, we raised money to help fund their incredible Snack and Chat initiative!

Here’s what they had to say:
“We are so grateful to LiveLife Pharmacy and the community for providing this valuable monetary support which we plan to use for our Snack and Chat program. This activity provides social contact and offers support to vulnerable and socially isolated people in our community. We attend YouTurn in Noosaville weekly, make a toasted sandwich and a cuppa, and just have a chat with anyone who needs it. Again, many thanks from Tewantin Noosa Red Cross.”

With roots in the Noosa Accommodation Project, founded in 1991 thanks to passionate community advocates like Mike St John, Youturn has grown into a vital support network offering:
🏠 Supported accommodation for youth aged 16–21
🛏️ Short-term housing assistance for families in crisis
🧠 Mental health support through five headspace centres and two Youth Enhanced Services (YES) in Toowoomba and Adelaide
Youturn works tirelessly to help those facing homelessness, unsafe living conditions, and mental health challenges — and now, you can help too.
💛 Here’s how you can get involved:

🌿 Celebrating Connection & Wellness in Our Community 🩷💚

We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of the recent Seniors Connect Wellness Session, a wonderful initiative dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of the Kin Kin senior community.

At the heart of the session was the opportunity to showcase our pharmacy services and how they can play a vital role in reducing isolation and supporting everyday wellness. It was a true pleasure to connect with attendees and share practical advice around medication management and the services we offer!

We also teamed up with a fantastic local nutritionist and exercise physiologist, who shared valuable insights into simple movement and nutritional guidance—reminding us all how small changes can make a big impact.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of recognising and celebrating the incredible team at LiveLife Pharmacy Tewantin – the heart and soul of our community pharmacy! 🌟

To show just how much we appreciate the hard work, care, and dedication of our amazing staff, we hosted a vibrant and heartfelt morning tea filled with delicious treats and warm smiles. Today was a chance for all of us – staff, customers, and community members – to come together and acknowledge the passion and positivity that this team brings to work every single day.

But that wasn't all! We also created a Recognition Station right in the heart of the pharmacy – a colourful and uplifting space where anyone could stop by to leave a message of thanks, encouragement, or appreciation for our team.

From the warm smiles at the counter, to the knowledgeable advice and the countless acts of kindness behind the scenes, our team goes above and beyond every day to support the health and wellbeing of everyone who walks through our doors. Today was all about shining a spotlight on them – and they absolutely deserve it.

Please be advised that our store will be closed this Friday, 25th April 2025, in observance of ANZAC Day.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our local community, we are proud to donate monthly hampers to the Tewantin Noosa RSL Club, helping to provide a small token of appreciation for the veterans in our local community.
We’d like to take a moment to highlight one of the inspiring individuals we support, one of our staff here at LLPTW — Sharon, a dedicated veteran who served in the Royal Australian Air Force for four and a half years. Sharon was drawn to military service by a desire to travel, gain valuable experience, and work alongside selfless individuals who share a deep love for their country.
During her time in the Air Force, Sharon was deployed to the Middle East for seven months during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, serving with a medical team as an Administrative Clerk. Her exceptional service and commitment were recognised upon her return, when she was awarded a Bronze Commendation Medal — a significant honour reflecting her dedication and professionalism.
We are incredibly grateful for Sharon’s service, and for the contributions of all current and former members of the Defence Force.
