✨ Wishing Bella a Wonderful Maternity Leave! ✨
Today, we say goodbye (for now) to our amazing receptionist, Bella, as she heads off to enjoy some well-deserved time with her growing family. We’re so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to meet the new little one! 💖👶🏼
You’ve been such an incredible part of our team, and we’ll miss your kindness, positivity, and laughter around the surgery. We know that this next adventure will be just as amazing as all the work you've done here.
We’re wishing you all the best and can’t wait to welcome you back when you're ready! 🌸

Spending time in nature has big benefits for your mental wellbeing. It’s also been shown to have wider health benefits like building your immune system and lowering your blood pressure.

The term shinrin-yoku emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a physiological and psychological exercise where people take time out to slow down and connect with nature. There are plenty of ways to enjoy nature on the Sunshine Coast! You could go for a bush walk, explore a national park, climb a mountain or even picnic by a waterfall.

Please read the upcoming new restrictions.

📢 Restrictions for people who aren't fully vaccinated

Once Queensland reaches its 80% double dose milestone (estimated to be 17 December), people who aren't fully vaccinated (two doses) against COVID-19 will be unable to👇:

🏥 Visit hospitals, residential aged care, disability care accommodation and prisons. Exceptions apply for medical treatment, end-of-life visits, childbirth and emergency situations
🍺 Visit hotels, pubs, clubs, taverns, bars, restaurants and cafes
💃 Attend nightclubs, live music venues, karaoke bars, concerts, theatres and cinemas
🏟️ Attend sporting stadiums and theme parks
🎼 Go to musical festivals, folk festivals and arts festivals
📚 Visit Qld Government owned galleries, museums and libraries

People can access essential retail services and public transport regardless of their vaccination status.

💒 Weddings will be limited to 20 people if anyone attending is unvaccinated. No limit applies where everyone is vaccinated.

📱Businesses will check your vaccination status on entry. Soon your proof of vaccination certificate can be linked to your Check-In Qld app to make it simple and easy to prove your vaccination status.

Once restrictions ease and our borders re-open, we expect outbreaks in the community that will put pressure on our hospital system. These measures will be in place to protect both unvaccinated people, and vaccinated people who are most vulnerable to COVID-19.

It's still Mental Health Month, so why not show someone you care with a hug! It's sure to improve the mood of both of you and the recipient.

And remember:
You are enough.
Your story is important.

It's !!

Washing your hands has always been important but even more so when in a pandemic.

If you have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine it is still necessary to wash your hands thoroughly.

Exercise increases wellbeing and helps reduce symptoms of common mental health concerns. Your gym may have closed or your fitness groups may be cancelled, but that doesn’t mean you can’t exercise! Yoga, Pilates, HIIT routines – all can be done in a relatively small space and with no equipment....
