Dr Bastian Joseph is still accepting new patients, particularly those new to the area or those whose GP has retired.
Dr Brianna Joseph will not be accepting new patients at this current time and for the forseeable future. We are still working through the last of the applications.

We want to thank everyone for the bearing with us while Dr Michael Joseph had some medical leave. He’s doing well but is still at limited hours currently.

Unfourtunately there is a power outage at the practice tomorrow, January 29th that was unable to be delayed or moved by the council so the practice will have to open at 2pm tomorrow and is closed in the morning.

The practice is closed for the Australia Day Public Holiday tomorrow the 26th of January. We recommend calling GP Access to book an appointment on 4926 0500 if you have medical needs that cannot wait. In case of emergency always call 000.

We recommend using GP Access After Hours for any non emergency health needs you may have, you can book on the day appointments by ringing 0249260500.
Dr Brianna is working there a few shifts and would love to see some familiar faces 👌

The practice is closed from the 25th of December and will reopen on the 5th of January.
We would recommend booking early to avoid missing out on an appointment before the holiday break.
If over the holiday period you require medical attention that isn’t an emergency we would recommend contacting GP Access for an appointment on the following number - (02) 49260500. Dr Brianna is working GP Access over the holiday period.

If you are aged 45-49 you can request your free bowel cancer screening kit via the link below. Those over 50 will be mailed the kit automatically. In these hot days the kits become less effective so do them as soon as you can! Screening tests are important in the early detection of cancer. 🚨NEW ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM 🚨

Our new online booking system is live - Automed - You can download the AMSConnect app and find our clinic this way. Alternatively you can access the booking system via our website - https://www.blacksmithsfamilymedicalpractice.com/book-an-appointment

We are still getting used to it - You must enter the matching number that we have on file for you and this is for existing patients only.

If you click on "select appointment type" under the doctors details and follow this, It works better than if you click on the time first.

The practice is closed tomorrow, Monday October 6th. We will be changing from HotDoc to Automed for our online booking, results and reminders from tomorrow. There will be an update here when we are live with the new system. We hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend so far 💉💊

Dr Michael Joseph is away for the next 3 weeks back on Tuesday the 7th of October.
His patients are able to book with Dr Bastian Joseph or Dr Brianna Joseph during this time.
