Dear Friends,

Greetings from Chennai (humid even in winter!) I hope you have all been enjoying the special time of year and can relax into 2026 feeling steady, focused and recharged. I’m so thankful for the support of classes while I’m away studying (I can’t wait to start the course tomorrow 🙏)

Please find class times and cover teacher contact details below - there are still some spaces in most classes so if you would like to book in face to face please let me know.

ALSO online subscribers: please let me know if you would like to subscribe this month and I will send the links for 3 pre-recorded sessions (the 4th week of term I will be back and classes will be live-streamed plus there’ll be the usual two recordings that week).

Please be in touch if you need anything; I am fully contactable (albeit 5.5 hours behind).

Hope you're surviving the Christmas heatwave! I am offering a reduced schedule of pop-up classes between now and New Year. You can practise live at home or face-to-face at Vitality Junction. Classes will be Gentle-General level to support your nervous system at this time of year. Each class a different practice.

Dear Friends,
I am so grateful for the support of Yoga classes online and at Vitality Junction Health Centre throughout this year. I am so nourished by and grateful for you all.
Believe it or not, we are entering the FINAL 4-week TERM for 2025 this week! At this time of year we need the nervous system support and calming and strengthening of our practice more than ever (I do challenge anyone to compete with 3 children born in December for planning and busyness!)

Dear Friends,

I hope you are travelling well!

Yoga has so many tools for our wellbeing on every level - helping support a strong and flexible body, resilient nervous system, clear calm mind, increased digestive fire and energy, improved relational health, creativity, purpose, being in flow with life etc

The final Living Well Workshop for 2025 is this coming Saturday 8th November 10.30am-3.30pm and there are a few places remaining.

Join us for 5 hours of opening and releasing through movement and breath, restoring deep calm and connection through chanting and relaxation, building beautiful community and being nourished by delicious natural food.

You will leave feeling reconnected to your own power to influence your life day to day through simple frameworks and practices from the teachings of Yoga.

The exploration for this month’s Workshop is Sva-Dharma - being aligned with our own unique life purpose. One of the ways we find this is by listening beyond the mind/thoughts to the heart (and beyond).

Dear Friends,
Today is World Mental Health Day and I have written an article called Mental Health through the Yogic Lens for Yoga Australia.
Also I still have space in tomorrow’s Living Well Workshop. If you are feeling like a beautiful day of movement, relaxation, inspiring teachings and delicious food, it’s not too late to book in!!

Dear Friends,

Could you do with some time out to heal your nervous system and reconnect with what’s important?

Retreating

is a beautiful opportunity for restoring, resetting, remembering, reflecting and reconnecting. For deepening our practice and moving back into life with vitality and perspective.

This September I’m so excited to be hosting my first retreat since Covid (and my youngest Juniper!) with my dear friend and fellow Yogi Leah Suters who will be preparing delicious and healthy creative meals (dietary requirements catered for).

The theme of this Spring Retreat is Return to Connection. Spending time in a gorgeous natural setting, we will have 3 nights (early check-in Friday, checkout Mon 10am) to really enjoy the pace and the peaceful surrounds.

Places have been filling for this intimate experience, but we still have capacity for 1-3 more students and we would love to share this with you. The venue is a beautifully appointed and private property, Turtles Crossing, in Green Point.

Dear Friends in Yoga and Wellbeing,

This year I am running monthly workshops with the theme of Living Well. The August session is coming up this weekend, Saturday 9th Ag 10.30am-3.30pm.

Please let me know if you could do with a deep nervous system reset, some joyous practice and inquiry, be nourished by pure Sattvic food, warm supportive community and the rich teachings of classical Yoga.

These are very special, intimate workshops with a focus on integrating habits and frameworks for our everyday lives that focus on our own sense of power for positive change.

This morning I am reflecting on 25 years of teaching Yoga. August 2000 was a long time ago and yet aspects of my experience are still so fresh - how inspired, motivated and passionate I am about sharing the practice that has helped me come home to myself over and over again.
