The Ponds School is a purpose-built School for Specific Purposes located in The Ponds. The school has a steady enrolment of approximately 115 students, ranging from Kindergarten to Year 12. Many of our students have complex learning needs such as: Autism, challenging behaviours, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and health care needs. We have 19 permanently established classes. Students travel to school from a wide geographical area. Due to the diverse geographical areas that our school community calls home, building strong relationships with our school community is a priority. Each student has a Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) developed in collaboration with families, therapists, and other key stakeholders, which works towards the achievement of their goals. The Ponds is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school and has established a Learning Support and Wellbeing team. All members of staff are committed to Visible Learning and the Quality Teaching Framework and work collaboratively to deliver individualised and meaningful education in a safe and caring environment. Solicitations and advertisements by other organisations or endorsements by other organisations or endorsements of other organisations. Multiple or repetitive posts by a single user. Repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users. Anything else that the school deems inappropriate and does not align with our values, standards, policies and guidelines.
