If you’re thinking about breast surgery, you may have heard your surgeon talk about ptosis, a clinical term for breast sagging. Understanding breast ptosis grading helps both you and your surgeon decide which surgical techniques are to be considered.

◾ The Grading Scale (Regnault classification)
▪ Grade I (Mild) - Ni**le rests at or just below the crease.
▪ Grade II (Moderate) - Ni**le sits a few cm below the crease but above the lower contour.
▪ Grade III (Severe) - Ni**le is well below the crease and breast mound.
▪ Pseudoptosis - Tissue sags below the crease while the ni**le stays at/above the fold.
