A massive Congratulations to our very own podiatrist Caitlyn Callaghan, on being awarded the Ted & Grace Renton Perpetual Memorial Award in Podiatry!

👏 Congratulations to Western Sydney University's Caitlyn Callaghan who was recently awarded the Ted & Grace Renton Perpetual Memorial Award in Podiatry.

The Ted & Grace Renton Perpetual Memorial Award is presented annually to the most outstanding student in the final year examination for biomechanics in the discipline of podiatry.

One of the founding fathers of podiatry in Australia, this honour is presented in recognition of Mr Ted Renton OAM's tireless work for the profession. The APodA is proud to be recipients of a trust fund which administers the award.

It’s been a bit of a crazy month and in that whirlwind we have forgotten to introduce you to someone! 🫢 opps!

Please give a big Welcome to Aisata as she joins our Wollondilly Podiatry reception team!

Aisata is a local Thirlmere resident and is currently finishing her HSC, with hopes to go to University next year to study Business and Marketing.

We have loved having her bright bubbly personality in clinic these past few weeks, and can’t wait for you all to meet her!

“To teach is to learn twice” — and around here, we take that literally.

At Wollondilly Podiatry, teaching is part of our DNA. It’s how we sharpen our skills, stay passionate, and shape the future of podiatry.

Today, Western Sydney Uni student Amrit got hands-on with real-world training as Caitlyn and Kelly stepped up (literally!) for local anaesthetic and shockwave practice.

We love opening our doors to students and creating a space where learning is active, real, and supportive. Because every time we teach, we refine our own craft. And we’re proud to be a clinic where students grow into clinicians—one step at a time.

Here, growth goes both ways.
