Christmas Closure
Please note that we will close for the Christmas break at 1pm on Wednesday the 24th of December 2025 and re-open on Friday 2nd of January 2026.

For any urgent care needs, please contact the Radio Doctor on (02) 4228 5522 available 24 hours/day on public holidays.

For the remainder of Christmas closure dates, urgent GP care will continue to be available at Corrimal Urgent Care and Bulli Urgent Care.

Thirroul Medical Centre is now closed for the holiday season. Please note we will be closed from 24th Dec 2022 until 3rd Jan 2023.

If there are any urgent issues requiring medical attention during this closure period please contact Illawarra Radio Doctor on 4228 5522 or attend Bulli Urgent Care Centre which provides a walk-in GP service.

For medical advice during the holiday period please call health direct on 1800 022 222. If you have a medical emergency, please call 000.

We will return to normal opening hours on Tues 3rd Jan 2023.

Make sure to use the Eligibility Checker on the Australian Government website to book your COVID-19 vaccine.

PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT NEW VENUES
NSW Health has been notified of a number of venues in Wollongong, Figtree and Mona Vale, that have been visited by confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Anyone who attended the following venues at the listed times must get tested immediately and self-isolate until they receive further advice from NSW Health:
• Wollongong - St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Atchison St Sunday 27 December 9am-10.15am
• Wollongong - The Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 18 Stewart St Sunday 27 December 10.30am-11am

Anyone who visited any of the following venues at the listed times is considered a casual contact who must get tested immediately and isolate until a negative result is received:

NSW Health urges anyone in NSW with even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, to come forward immediately for testing, then isolate until they receive a negative result.

From today, Tuesday 31 March 2020:

👉 You must stay home unless you’re going to work (where you can’t work remotely); school or an educational institution; shop for food and essentials; get medical care or supplies, or exercise.

👉 Do not gather in public except for members of the same household or where the gathering is essential for work or education. This also excludes shops and shopping centres (which you may attend with 1 other person).

👉 Playgrounds, skate parks and outside gyms in public places will be closed.

👉 There is a 6 month moratorium on evictions.

👉 People aged 70+, 60+ and Indigenous people 50+ with existing health conditions or comorbidities, should stay at home as much as possible.
