Reflective Practice Training with Jess McGrath: Empowering Allied Health Professionals

Last week, our dedicated team of allied health professionals at Soaring Health had the privilege of attending reflective practice training led by the incredible Jess McGrath. With over 10 years of coaching experience, Jess has worked with health professionals at all stages of their careers, from new graduates to senior managers, helping them unlock their full potential and navigate the complexities of the healthcare environment.

Jess's coaching philosophy is centered around a strong relational approach, where she takes the time to understand the whole person—their values, interests, culture, and strengths—and how these aspects contribute to their professional growth and overall wellbeing. This holistic method fosters a deeper connection, not only with the work but also with the self.

In the session, Jess created a safe, supportive space for our team to reflect on their practices, think outside the box, and explore innovative strategies to achieve both personal and professional goals. Through thoughtful discussion and personalized guidance, Jess helped each team member reflect on their experiences, tackle challenges, and create actionable plans for continuous improvement.

We are grateful to Jess for providing such a valuable opportunity for growth and learning, and for reminding us of the importance of taking time to reflect on our journey as health professionals.
