The ability to feel, express, and move through emotions goes beyond self-awareness.
Self awareness can sometimes keep you trapped in the logical part of your being. If you only focus on understanding yourself, you are rejecting an essential part of the healing/integration process.
As the saying goes, you’ve got to FEEL it to HEAL it.
Once i started to understand this and surrender to FEELING, i was able to shift through and integrate my experiences on a deeper level.
While understanding patterns and belief systems holds great value and insight, it is important to understand that growth and creating wholeness goes beyond the logical and analytical mind.
In my experience transformational growth is more so held in somatic expression. It bypasses understanding and moves into the feeling body. Creating the experience of FEELING the emotion that is present.
To integrate emotional healing, reconnect with your body, tune into its sensations, and fully experience and express your emotions without judgment or overthinking. Embrace the sensations and let your emotions flow naturally.
