We’ve discovered a creative and engaging way to help students open up and connect using Minecraft-style blocks!

In our sessions, students use the blocks to:

🖐🏼Express their feelings through building

🖐🏼Work together on group challenges to practice communication and cooperation

🖐🏼Recreate social scenarios to reflect and problem-solve real-life interactions

🖐🏼Explore what makes a good friend by building their own “friendship towers”

September is National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Month. Together, we can honor living experiences, build greater understanding and take meaningful steps toward a future where everyone impacted by an FASD is seen, supported and valued.

People with FASD can experience challenges such as:

* physical and emotional developmental delay
* impaired speech and language development
* learning problems, such as issues with memory and attention,
* difficulty controlling behaviour.
