At Thornleigh Podiatry we realise that not everyone has the ability to make it into the practice.

Although we have flat access from the roof carpark into the clinic, we do have staff that offer home visits in the Thornleigh, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Beecroft, Cherrybrook, Normanhurst, Westleigh, Hornsby, Waitara, Wahroonga, Warrawee and Turramurrah areas.

If you are unable to make it into the practice, please call us on 02 9980 9909 to discuss your needs. Unfortunately online bookings are not available for this service. We also provide home visits to clients covered by aged care packages and NDIS.

Thornleigh Podiatry can help you with foot and ankle work place injuries. We are happy to step in at any point during your rehabilitation or return to work program. We work with all insurers.

Workers compensation cases can be complex. To qualify to have your assessment and treatment covered you need to be referred by your case manager. If you feel like podiatry would be beneficial for your recovery please discuss with your team to get this referral, then book in to see us.

Orthotics are an in shoe device, used for short, medium or long term relief of pain in your lower limb. They can be hard, soft, thin, thick. They can come out of a packet or they can be custom made off a 3D model of your foot.

If you have an existing pair of orthotics we can replicate those or if you’ve never had orthotics but suffer from foot pain, have a injury or your foot is changing we are here to help assess, diagnose and offer treatment options to help you out.

We are also a proud supplier of custom made Cobra cycling orthotics. Please book in to see Reid if you are interested in this product.

Podiatrists are the experts when it comes to injuries of the foot and ankle. Over 50% of runners will get a lower limb injury each year. Children and active teens have unique types of injuries related to growth plates and exercise. Workplace injuries, return to work programs and over use injuries to the bones, tendons and ligaments of the feet are all things podiatrists can help with.

We start with a detailed history of your injury or pain, we carry out a non weight bearing, weight bearing and gait assessment of your lower limb. We assess your footwear. We design a treatment plan to help you over come your injury and get back to your usual life pain free.

We accept all clients for this service, private with or without health funds, referrals from your GPs and other allied health practitioners like your chiropractor or physiotherapist.

It is really important for our workers compensation clients to get pre approval for the initial consultation. Before starting any treatment plan we provide a report to your case manager to get approval so you do not incur any costs.

A bunion is more than a lump on the foot. You can have a bunion on either side of the foot too. A bunion is a change in the angle in many of the bones in the foot and some people have pain associated with them, others do not. At Thornleigh Podiatry we are experts in the conservative management and education of bunions.

We assess your foot and lower limb biomechanics as well as your footwear and activity specific load. We offer conservative solutions to help you manage your feet and help you stay pain free.
