Neuro Alliance has a multidisciplinary team of health professionals with specific skills to manage people with neurological conditions. Neuro Alliance completed construction of their state of the art rehabilitation and hydrotherapy centre at 1 Poynton Place, Thornton, NSW in December 2020. Neuro Alliance has a strong presence in the community servicing a wide geographical area. Our skills are utilised as far west as Tamworth, as far north as Port Macquarie, as far south as the Central Coast and everywhere in between.

We’re proud to deliver world-class gait rehabilitation for people living with neurological conditions. Our clients travel from across Australia (and even further!) to access our specialist facilities and expert team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists.

Our lab is kitted out with cutting-edge rehab technology, including:
🔹 The THERATrainer LYRA (Australia’s first and only!)
🔹 Overground & treadmill body-weight support systems
🔹 Functional electrical stimulation (FES) devices
🔹 Active-passive arm/leg cycles
🔹 Standing balance frames

We’ve now been running the Gait Lab for over a year and we have witnessed some truly amazing progress from our clients 🙌

💡 Why high-intensity gait training?
Current research shows that high-intensity, task-specific walking practice is one of the most effective ways to improve walking outcomes for people with neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, and brain injury. Repetitive, intensive training helps the brain and spinal cord rewire and strengthen new movement pathways.
